Over 1,000 students participated with almost 300 teams, coming from 95 different schools, to the annual competition for secondary schools promoted by INFN. Table tennis, ski jumping and snowshoeing: these are the sports analysed by the winning teams of the competition “Ci vuole il fisico! The physics of sport” proposed to schools by ScienzaPerTutti, the INFN science communication and dissemination website. At its eighteenth edition, this year’s competition challenged students to choose a sport and explain its physics, arousing great enthusiasm which led to over 1,000 participants from 95 high and middle schools.
